Adaptronics, a deep tech startup for the development of electro-adhesive robotic handling solutions for industrial and space applications, attracted 3.15 million euros round from lead investor 360 Capital, CDP Venture Capital and Obloo Ventures (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The company previously raised 0.685 million from Galaxia and A11 Venture. Lorenzo Agostini (ceo), Camilla Conti (coo) and Rocco Vertechy (R&D Lead) founded Adaptronics in 2022 through a spin-off from Bologna University. Alessandro Zaccaria is a partner of 360 Capital. Claudia Pingue heads the Tech Transfer Fund of CDP Venture Capital.
Italian aerospace startup OhmSpace (OS) attracted 2.5 million euros seed from lead investor Galaxia (0.95 million), Polo Nazionale di Trasferimento Tecnologico per l’Aerospazio – CDP Venture Capital – Obloo Ventures, Takeoff (0.8 million), Scientifica Venture Capital (0.15 million), and Deep Ocean Capital (0.6 million) which converted in equity the SAFE instruments it previously subscribed to (see here a previous post by BeBeez). Federico Romei founded OS in 2021 and already signed contracts with the European Space Agency (ESA) and received the support of Invitalia’s Smart & Start programme. Claudia Pingue is the Head of Technology Transfer Fund – CDP Venture Capital. Riccardo D’Alessandri is a managing partner of Scientifica Venture Capital. Alternative Capital Partners sgr (ACP) signed a partnership with Step Venture and launched Step Fund which already raised 30 million euros ahead of a 50 – 80 million target (see here a previous post by BeBeez). The vehicle attracted the resources of Zest, Reale Mutua, Add Value, other strategic partners, and anchor investor CDP Venture Capital which poured 20 million through Digital Transition Fund – NPRR (DTF), part of the NextGeneration EU programme. Michele Novelli, Roberto Montandon, Gennaro Tesone, and Maria Imbesi head Milan and Naples-based Step Venture which will carry on seed investments in Italian AI-based businesses for fintech, health tech, software B2B, and connected world. Emanuele Ottina and Ofelia Harder are the ceo and Senior Manager for Fundraising and Business Development of Acp. Enrico Filì is the head of Digital Transition Fund – NPRR of CDP Venture Capital. Andrea Birolo is the Head of Digital Business, Corporate Venture Capital and Partnerships of Reale Group.
